Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Elevate — the creator marketplace where creators curate products from merchant partners for customers to shop.

1.Acceptance of these terms

By creating an Elevate account, browsing our storefronts, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect.

2.Your account

Elevate supports three account types: customers, creators, and merchants. You may register for an account by providing accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Accounts may not be shared, transferred, or sold. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register.

3.Creator obligations

If approved as a creator, you may curate products from participating merchants onto your storefront and earn a commission on confirmed sales. You agree to:

  • Provide truthful representations of products you promote
  • Disclose your commercial relationship with Elevate where required by applicable advertising laws
  • Not engage in deceptive or misleading practices
  • Comply with our community guidelines and platform policies

Commission rates are set per product and may be overridden at the merchant or platform level. Your dashboard always reflects the current rate that applies to each product.

4.Merchant obligations

Merchants who connect a Shopify store to Elevate agree to:

  • Maintain accurate inventory and pricing via the Shopify integration
  • Fulfill orders within the timeframes communicated on the product page
  • Honour the commission rates configured in their settings
  • Comply with consumer-protection laws applicable in the UAE
  • Provide working returns and customer support consistent with our policies

Merchants may pause sales by setting their store to Inactive. Stores may be temporarily blocked by Elevate for material policy violations.

Processing of customer personal data by Elevate on behalf of a Merchant is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.

5.Customer obligations

When placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide (including shipping address and payment details) is accurate. Orders are subject to acceptance by the relevant merchant and to availability.

6.Payments, fees, and commission

All prices are listed and charged in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise indicated. Payments are processed through our payment partners; we do not store your full card details.

Elevate retains a platform fee and pays creators their earned commission on a periodic basis. Merchant settlements reflect the product price net of commissions and applicable fees.

7.Intellectual property

The Elevate name, logo, and platform features are owned by us. Content posted by creators (descriptions, images, posts) remains owned by the creator, who grants Elevate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform and in marketing.

Merchant product imagery and descriptions remain the property of the merchant, used by Elevate to facilitate sales.

8.Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the platform to defraud, harass, or impersonate others
  • Attempt to circumvent platform fees or commission tracking
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with platform infrastructure
  • Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content
  • Resell platform access or accounts

9.Returns and refunds

Returns are governed by our returns policy. By placing an order you accept the merchant-specific return conditions disclosed on the product page.

10.Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account at our discretion if these terms are breached. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Pending obligations (orders, payouts) will be settled before closure.

11.Disclaimers

Elevate is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Product warranties and consumer-protection rights remain with the respective merchants and are not extended by Elevate.

12.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elevate's aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform is limited to the total amount you paid Elevate in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
