1.What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise you on return visits and remember things like your login state, cart contents, and preferences. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and session storage for the same purposes.

2.Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into three categories:

CategoryPurposeCan disable?
EssentialAuthentication tokens (elevate_access_token, elevate_refresh_token), shopping cart, CSRF protection. No — the site won't work
FunctionalRemembering preferences (currency, recently viewed items), maintaining UI state.Yes
AnalyticsUnderstanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it (page views, performance).Yes

3.Third-party cookies

A small number of partners may set cookies through Elevate:

  • Shopify: when a merchant has connected a Shopify store, some Shopify-issued cookies may be present to support checkout and fulfillment flows.
  • SendGrid: open and click-tracking pixels in transactional emails (not the website itself).
  • Payment processors: our payment partners may set fraud-prevention cookies at the moment of checkout.

We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.

4.Managing cookies

You can manage and delete cookies through your browser settings. The links below take you to the relevant instructions:

  • Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox each let you block or delete cookies under their Settings → Privacy section.
  • Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent login, checkout, and other core features from working.

A granular cookie consent banner is on our roadmap and will let you toggle non-essential categories directly.

5.Updates to this policy

We'll update this policy whenever we change the cookies we use. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
